Frequently Asked Questions

What candle rental options does Allegory offer?

Allegory offers two candle rental options: 1) full-service 2) self-service. Our full-service option includes candle rentals, delivery, setup, and teardown at your event. 2) Our self- service option includes the customer picking up and dropping off the candle rentals at one of our locations within a 6-day window and doing the setup and teardown themself. You can read more about our rental options here.

What is the process of booking Allegory for my wedding?

First, request a quote outlining what you're interested in renting for your wedding. We'll work with you on the design and quantity of candles we recommend. Once these details are finalized and you're ready to book, Allegory will send you a contract to sign and a link to pay a 10% deposit. You can pay the deposit via credit card, zelle, venmo, or check.

How does the Self-Service Candle Rental option work?

Our self-service candle rental option involves the customer picking up and dropping off the candle rental items from one of our two locations (Clearwater, FL or Clermont, FL). The customer is then responsible for setting up and tearing down. The customer can keep the candles if they'd like or return them with the hurricanes. We will handle the cleaning of the hurricane; we just ask that they are returned unbroken.

Is Allegory licensed and insured?

Yes, we are fully licensed and insured. If your venue requires a COI, we are happy to provide it.

What types of candles does Allegory offer?

Allegory offers pillar candles, taper candles, floating candles, votive candles, and flameless candles. We offer a variety of colors for the pillar candles and taper candles. You can view our current rental inventory in our candle rental catalog.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, Allegory requires a 10% deposit to hold the rentals for your date.

What makes Allegory different than renting candles through a florist?

The primary difference between Allegory and florists is that Allegory specializes in candles and only does candles. Therefore, we can offer a wider variety of candle options, and our prices are more favorable than florists because we can keep our overhead costs low. We keep our overhead costs low by only carrying candle inventory which does not age, not having a physical storefront, and by having an efficient cleaning process for the candle hurricanes because it's our core operation.
